An Internet Service Provider faces $43,000 for exposing credit card details of its customers

Turkey's Personal Data Protection Authority imposed administrative fine of 300.000 TL ($43,000) to an unknown "Internet Service Provider" in accordance with the subparagraph (b) of first paragraph of Article 18 of the Law, for failure to take the necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure data security after the company notified the Authority about the exposure of its customers credit card details.
